Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

The short version

  • This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers.
  • In our games we use your Roblox user ID, name and gameplay data to run matches and save progress. Roblox handles your account, chat and payments.
  • We never sell information or use it for advertising.
  • Parents and players can ask us to see or delete their game data at [email protected].

Who we are

Peak Time Studios (“we”, “us”) is an independent studio that makes games on the Roblox platform, including Match The Build. We run this website, peaktime.world, and the game servers behind our games. We are responsible for the information described in this policy.

Contact for anything privacy-related: [email protected].

What this policy covers

This policy covers two things:

  • this website, peaktime.world; and
  • our games on Roblox (the “games”).

You play our games through your Roblox account. Roblox Corporation runs that account, the Roblox apps, chat, voice, payments and moderation, and handles that information under its own Privacy and Cookie Policy. We never see your Roblox password, email address, phone number, date of birth, real name or payment details.

Information from this website

The website has no accounts, no forms, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. It sets no cookies. Fonts and the trailer are served from our own server.

  • Server and network logs. Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages (our host and Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site) receive your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use this only to keep the site running and secure, and keep it only as long as needed for that.
  • Images from Roblox. Game icons on the home page load from Roblox’s image servers, so Roblox receives the same basic request information when your browser fetches them.
  • Emails you send us. If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include, and use it only to answer you.

Information in our games

To run matches and save your progress, our games handle:

WhatExamplesWhy
Roblox identifiersYour Roblox user ID, username and display nameTo know whose progress is whose, show names in matches and on leaderboards
Game progressCoins, level, wins, perfect builds, streaks, owned island skins and pets, settingsTo save your progress between sessions
Matchmaking dataQueue and party membership, which match server you were sent to, duel stakes and resultsTo put you in matches with your party and run duels fairly
Purchase recordsWhich in-game item you bought and Roblox’s receipt ID (never payment details)To deliver what you bought exactly once
Gameplay and device eventsSteps such as “finished the tutorial” or “match ended”, device type (phone, tablet, computer, console, VR)To find where the game is confusing or broken and fix it
Fair-play signalsImpossible movement or actions detected on our serversTo stop cheating and protect other players

Game progress is stored in Roblox’s data storage for games. Matchmaking data is stored on our own server. Gameplay events are sent to Roblox’s analytics service for game creators, where we see them as totals and funnels, not as a history of one person.

Chat and voice are provided and moderated by Roblox. Our games only decide who can hear whom during a match (for example, eliminated players talk to each other); we do not record or store chat messages or voice.

How we use information, and our legal bases

  • To provide the games you chose to play: matches, progress, purchases, leaderboards (necessary to provide the service).
  • To keep the games fair and safe and enforce our Terms of Use (our legitimate interest, and yours, in fair play).
  • To improve the games using aggregated gameplay events (legitimate interest).
  • To answer you when you contact us.

We do not sell information, share it for advertising, build advertising profiles, or track you across other websites or apps.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the games and this site, and only for that purpose:

  • Roblox Corporation, the platform the games run on (game storage, analytics, payments).
  • Our hosting provider, which runs the server behind our games and this site.
  • Cloudflare, which sits in front of our server for security and performance.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect players, us or others from fraud or harm. Other players can see what the game shows publicly: your name, level and leaderboard positions.

Where information is processed

Our providers, including Roblox and Cloudflare, may process information in the United States and other countries. Where information leaves your country, we rely on these providers’ own safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Game progress: for as long as we operate the game, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Matchmaking records: queues and parties last minutes; match and duel records are kept to resolve disputes and to keep stats, and are deleted when you ask.
  • Emails: as long as needed to deal with your message.
  • Website logs: only briefly, for security and troubleshooting.

Children

Roblox is used by people of all ages, including children under 13. Our games are designed to collect as little as possible: we receive only the Roblox identifiers and gameplay data described above, which are needed to operate the game. We do not ask for names, email addresses, photos, locations or any other contact details inside our games, and we do not show personalized advertising.

Roblox’s own parental controls apply to everything in our games, including chat and spending limits.

Parents and guardians can ask us to show or delete the game data tied to their child’s Roblox account. Email [email protected] with the child’s Roblox username. We may ask a question to confirm the request is genuine.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, Israel’s Privacy Protection Law, or US state laws such as the CCPA and COPPA), you can ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • stop or limit a use of it, or object to it.

Email [email protected] with your Roblox username. We answer within 30 days. Deleting game data resets your progress and cannot be undone. When Roblox forwards us a deletion request for an account, we delete that account’s game data as well.

You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in Israel, the Privacy Protection Authority).

Security

Only Roblox game servers can talk to our server, every request is authenticated, and the server is reachable only through Cloudflare. Staff tools require two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what we hold and keep as little as we can.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes we will also post a notice in our games or on our channels.
